All India Council of Auditors and Accountants was established as a Registered Society with Hqrs. at New Delhi on 7th May 1997 to enhance professional skills, ideas and standards for better financial management, improvement in quality of accounting systems which may ensure the presentation of complete and transparent view of financial and related aspects of any scheme or project.

The Council has a team of experienced and qualified persons who accord considerable importance to performance and propriety audit for improvement and strengthening of existing systems which are to play a key role in overall performance of any organization. This approach is bound to help in arresting the growing tendency to sidetrack norms of financial management and will go a long way in improving the efficiency of an organization. The Council aspires to be centre of excellence in identifying the embedded deficiencies of prevailing financial system and accounting procedure of an organization and to suggest need based changes for improvement.
